This was a good book I couldn't put it down I can't wait to read the rest of this series

Good writing and good plot. Sounds like it gets more complicated in the next book. I have read other ebooks by this author that I like a little bit more but still okay.
Book was fairly well written. The characters did not have so much backstory that it took half the book to explain who they were. On the other hand, the characters did have enough back story that the reader understood their metamorphosis towards the end.
I really enjoyed this book. The plot really makes it interesting especially since they were childhood friends. I can't wait to see how the story ends.
